The magical feeling of pressing publish and adding to the portfolio
I had an idea. My idea was to do less to receive more. Now hold on because I know that can sound crazy. The less. Less checking my phone. Less checking for things that don’t matter that take away from my time to smile, breathe and look up at the sky. Instead I’d be looking down, fucking my back up, trolling people and fishing for likes. Gross.
I thought, what if I do less of the nonsense and more appreciating the people and things around me. Then take that good energy and put it back into myself and those important to me. Be happy. Be present. Then add a schedule and some goals to that schedule and then I’d successfully be doing less to achieve and receive more.
I designed the idea
I designed a one page site that reflects these thoughts and has links to help support the argument that also help put the practices in place. I even found the perfect gif to describe the feeling:
I hit publish on this idea
The site I designed is live. It’s not an idea sitting in my idea book. A simple way to help myself and others take away the bullshit and add some genuine happiness and self reflection that should add to more fun and productive times.
That’s about it, a little 80/20 rule, a little parkison’s law all in the site.
