Organizational Debt is Like Technical debt — But Worse

I liked this article. One thing i might add is the organizational debt incurred by lack of clear org-chart, which is typical in an early stage but that needs firming up as a company tries to scale. As a company tries to scale the informal and “many-hats” style of organization falls on its face when suddenly you need an expert to handle that function for a much greater load. Customer Service is a good example of such a function, easy to do a little, but takes a real expert to organize it at scale.
