Beyond Measure

Beyond the waves I sink and I soar.

Sore my muscles ache, but still I hold on.

For dear life, I hold on, for my dear.

My love is in the wind whipping my face as I ride.

Moving my sail by sheer force.

My love is powerful

Beyond measure

Beyond the waves, my unsinkable ship rises and it falls.

“Look ahead,” it’s small top gives no indication of what’s underneath.

How could they not see? How do we not know? At sea, this mammoth!

No one yet knows, how deep, how wide, how much this travels even as the unsinkable sinks.

We have yet to know, but this we do, it can sink the unsinkable, and me I have no idea what’s down there, I just know it’s there.
