Opt Out…While You Can

I support your cause, but the change is difficult or almost impossible for a normal user. If I wanted to erase WhatsApp from my phone I will have to find another way to stay in contact with my family and friends or convince the majority of them to migrate to another app, specially because I am far away from my homeland.

I will just say that it took us years for my and others younger relatives to install and teach how to use Whatsapp to all family members and we had to wait for the group chat function to get them engaged. They are like kids sharing photos and jokes on the family group and like them moving to another unknown environment could be a little troublesome, specially because the majority doesn’t know how to download an app.

Sometimes this “monopoly” that this kind of apps have make it difficult itself to migrate to another.
