Elain and Ace, the Lord wants to assure you that he is pleased with the union and that he is going to bless this union. As you have invited him to your boat, because I see a boat, and it is going to be filled, just like Peter when he allowed Jesus to enter his boat, it came like a net-breaking harvest. And it will be the same with your household.
Elain and Ace, you have been working hard. The finances sometimes really scares both of you. And being young and sometimes at a loss…

Yesterday, Ace and I, together with our good friend Jemimi, attended Derrick & Jamie’s wedding. After 9 long years, they finally tied the knot!!! Ace has known Jamie since they were in college, and I met her because we’re both in the photography world. And she’s also our neighbour!
Their wedding was very unique, a different experience for all of us who were there. It was very beautiful too, not only because of the styling and the theme, but because God was glorified in everything — from the beginning of their love story to how…
It’s been 19 months since I became a mother. A full-time, stay-at-home, breastfeeding mother. I’ve learned so many things now and my eyes have been opened to the world called motherhood.
Before becoming a mom, I had very different and unfortunately, wrong ideas about it. Like, it’s all rainbows and unicorns when you have a baby. That labor will probably be easier than what’s shown in the movies — one big push and the baby will be out. That life will be filled with laughs and giggles.
And my favorite — that breastfeeding is easy will come naturally to anyone…
The days are long, but the years are short. There are some things in life that should never be forgotten — like your children’s milestones.
1st Week — Navi was admitted in the Neonatal ICU during his first 6 days of life because of low blood sugar, transient tachypnea of the newborn, not being able to thermoregulate, fluid in his lungs, and jaundice. Only started breastfeeding on the 3rd day. Baby had a good latch and mommy had lots of milk!
2nd week—First time to take a bath. First time to go out of the house (for my OB-GYN appointment)…
Do you remember what you felt the first time your toddler had a bloody booboo?
Well, we just experienced our first bloody booboo a few days ago. Two, to be exact — in just a span of 3 days. It was probably the most heartbreaking thing we’ve gone through as parents. I felt so bad about these accidents that I had to seek counsel from some of my mommy friends.
Here are some of the things they’ve taught me.
Part 1 of the post HERE.
Now we face a new challenge: traveling with an infant who eats! Before this, we only had to think about where to nurse the baby. Now, we had to think about his food, water, and other eating paraphernalia. So how did we manage?
FOOD — As much as we wanted to feed him freshly prepared pureed fruits and veggies, it was impossible. So we decided to give him baby cereal and those purees that come in glass jars or pouches. We tried to feed him the food alternatives a few days in advance just…
Yes, you read that right! Our wedding was only worth PHP 200,000, and it was an AWESOME wedding! And no, you would not feel that it was cheap. A lot of my friends have been wondering how in the world did we do it, and a lot are asking for advice on how to cut down on expenses for their own wedding. Do understand that staying at this kind of budget doesn’t necessarily mean that our wedding was cheap. You can have one that looks elegant and not spend that much.
I’m sharing our wedding story to help you get…
They said to learn something new everyday. But this “mommy brain” is to blame for forgetting some of the thing’s I’ve learned. So I’ve decided to put the top 10 things I’ve learned in my first year of being a mother.
