Hi @Booblet, your response is not in the spirit of the rust community. By disparaging someone for providing valuable feedback about why they’re ceasing to use rust, you’re discouraging others from doing the same.

For the sake of argument, let’s say the content of your response is accurate. In that case, the fact that an experienced C++ developer was unable to find a satisfactory way to implement this in rust, is a rust documentation problem.

Even if the OP was confused, characterising the feedback as “cries about it,” is uncalled for an could be interpreted as mean-spirited.

It is quite possible that this was not your intent. You may simply be passionate about rust and reacting to what you perceived to be a slight against it, or trying to be playful with your words. If this is the case, I’m sorry for misinterpreting — however, this would be a perfect example of how someone could take this the wrong way. :-)
