RE : definition of rape and rape culture. What needs to be understood first about rape is that it is not about sex but only and always about violence intended to demean, to control, to punish, to establish who is the boss, etc. It equates socially with racism, slavery, abject chauvinism, etc. It is never about sex; sex in rape is used as a weapon of mass destruction : the rapist against his victim or a rape culture against any imagined slight or challenge to the supremacy of the biggest guns (or any penis).

Caitlin : “You are the best” ! “Keep up the good work” ! “Don’t let the turkey’s get you down” ! …and all of those equally oldie cliches.
