Thoughts …
It’s the thought that catches. I was sitting under some form of concentration when a thought caught me and at once it let itself in and made itself comfortable, then all the other little silly thoughts started pouring in that door of my mind. I thought well let them come in, let them pass and do not hold on to any of them unless it is a good idea. Let a good idea stay for a while, feed it, water it, take it outside for a swim or a walk, and most importantly cultivate it. Cultivate a good idea until the garden yields all kinds of fruits and when it’s time let a good idea go to make room for other good ideas to behold your presence, your awareness.
See if I had the awareness of a tree then I would have my roots firm within the earth and my leaves singing high up to the sky. I would soar my wings enchanted to distant lands if I had that of birds, or crash my waves on the rocky shores and hold my pearls from the depths if I had that of the ocean, but I am just as you man a human being of imagination and wonder awestruck by its own awareness. So I go spiraling back around once again to keep that inhale and exhale through my heart that is my mind realizing that the heart is not separate from the mind.
