Zachary, I agreed with everything you said and valued your views on the Milgram experiment. I personally didn’t think it was unethical. If he would have been truthful from the start, the “teachers” would have known there were no repercussions to their actions. I also think how he explained everything in the end and provided closure, helped with the psychological effects. I’m still kind of torn between it though even as I right this comment. I think he could have tested the obedience thing without shocks but I think he wanted to dive into humans causing other humans harm as was done in the concentration camps.
