I’ve been using Tape for over a year. Unfortunately, you can’t write nested test suites without built in beforeEach/afterEach functions. And without nesting, testing complex behaviours becomes unwieldy, quickly.

Then again, Tape’s asynchronous test running also makes the output for nested suites difficult to parse, but that’s a relatively minor inconvenience.
