St. Joseph the Worker & GHANA News ONLINE make donation.
The St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Tema-Community 8, with the support of media outfit, GHANA News ONLINE made a donation to the New Crystal Hospital in Tema, Ghana.
The event which took place on the 23rd of April, 2022 sought to donate items and support some selected clinics and hospitals in the Tema locality. Items donated to the hospital, were plastic washing buckets and bowls, detergents, disinfectants, dustbins, toiletries, nose-masks, just to mention a few.
The gesture was greatly appreciated by the staff of New Crystal Hospital. Mr. Kwame Ansong, the Administrator for the Tema branch of the hospital expressed his joy about the gesture and encouraged that, more of these gestures continue as it was a way of showing love and contributing one’s quota towards the good of society. To him, it was a great move by the Catholic institution and the media outfit who commands a strong following on facebook.
“I want to say a very big thank you to both St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and GHANA News ONLINE for the show of love this morning. It is not everybody that thinks of the other in this manner. It takes great courage and kindness to do this. I will further encourage that, you both continue in this light, so as to make society a better place to live in.”
Mr. Wilfred Opoku, the Youth President of St. Joseph the Worker and Madam Flora Simpson, the deputy Managing Editor of GHANA News ONLINE, thanked New Crystal Hospital for the good work they have been doing for humanity all these years and urged them to do more.
The donation exercise was followed by a general clean-up exercise of the hospital vicinity, by all.
