While 2015 remains a relatively small sample size, it seems that some increase in “non-football scores” will be the new normal. Kickers continue to improve, so that means more FGs. Teams are a little more aggressive with the 2P. That said, the trend could be tempered by improved XP conversion (in line with kicker improvement over time), which might also then reduce 2P attempts. The regression equations for the various periods above predict 19.6% to 21.5% “non-football scores” in 2015. It will be fun to see how the rest of the season plays out
