Hello! I’m here to show you how to buy Tron/Tronix, one of the most promising cryptocurrencies on the market right now.
This guide was made to show you everything that you’ll need, including making an account on Coinbase to buying TRX on Binance!
Coinbase
Coinbase is one of the top digital currency exchanges and is one of the most popular places for people to buy Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoin (LTC).
You can start off by registering an account at https://www.coinbase.com. If you’re feeling generous and/or want an extra $10, register using https://www.coinbase.com/join/5a1f7b7db6ef5f00f1c1974a (This is a referral link that will give both of us $10 of bitcoin if you deposit $100).
Fill out the information (First Name, Last Name, etc.) and create your account! Verify your email and use 2 factor authentication (2FA) if you want to be safe (You should do this).
Once you’ve done that, you can add a payment method. Through Coinbase, you can purchase a cryptocurrency by linking a bank account, adding and charging a credit or debit card, or doing a wire transfer. Adding your bank account to Coinbase will make your purchases easier. However, any purchases with your account will take several days to process — Coinbase will hold your assets until the funds clear. Don’t worry, though, the price that you bought a cryptocurrency at won’t change throughout this process.
For more time-sensitive purchases, using your credit or debit card is often a better option.
If you’re deciding whether to purchase Ethereum or Bitcoin, I would recommend Ethereum. Transactions with Ethereum are not only faster, but also cheaper! You definitely get more bang for your buck. Fill out the amount you want to buy (in either USD or ETH) and purchase!
Binance Account
Once you’ve purchased your cryptocurrency of choice, you’ll need to transfer it to an exchange with TRON. I find Binance to be one of the best options available to buy TRX.
Similar to the process with Coinbase, register an account on Binance. You can use https://www.binance.com/?ref=11155360 if you’re feeling nice (This referral link doesn’t affect you in any way. Just makes me feel like I have friends). If not, just use https://www.binance.com. Press the button in the upper right that says Register.
Once you complete all the necessary details (filling out info, verifying email, 2FA), it’s time to move your cryptocurrency to Binance.
Transfer
Cryptocurrencies are stored in wallets, and both Binance and Coinbase manage these wallets for you. To send your Ethereum to Binance from Coinbase, you’ll need to give Coinbase your Ethereum wallet address on Binance.
You can find your Ethereum address on Binance by logging in, hovering over the Funds section on the top right, and pressing Deposits Withdrawals. Find Ethereum and press the Deposit button to receive your address. Copy this carefully and open up Coinbase.
Once you’re on Coinbase, go to Accounts and your ETH wallet. Press the Send button and copy your Binance address in. Be very careful here — make sure that the addresses are exactly the same. Once you’re satisfied, complete the transaction.
Cryptocurrency transactions do take some time, so don’t be worried if it doesn’t immediately show up in your Binance account. You can check your transfer’s status if you hover over Funds and press History. This may take a while depending on how congested the network is (Cryptokitties, anyone?).

Buying TRX
The time has finally come! You’re ready to start buying TRON.
Login to your Binance account and hover over the Exchange section, then press Advanced (I find this easier to use).
Select the correct trading pair by going up to the top right corner and pressing the trading pair (probably ETH/BTC) next to Account. Click ETH and scroll until you find TRX/ETH, the trading pair we want. Once you click on this, the graphs and numbers will change to the respective trading pair.
Once you press TRX/ETH (your URL should be https://www.binance.com/tradeDetail.html?symbol=TRX_ETH), go to the bottom right corner and press the Market tab.
Type in how much TRX you want or use the percentage buttons and click Buy. You can wait for a bit until the market price/line dips down a bit, but if you’re holding TRX for the long haul (as you should be), it doesn’t matter when you buy! And you’re done!
Once you finish buying the desired amount of TRON, I recommend moving it to a wallet such as myetherwallet (MEW). You can look up how to do this online. Thanks for reading!
