The Quick Case Why AOC Could Be the Millennial & Gen Z Candidate America Needs in 2028

By 2028, Gen Z and millennials will make up more than half of the voting electorate. These two generational classes are projected to exceed 50%. Their increasing numbers will be a significant part of crafting policy and influencing electoral outcomes. Due to the current circumstances, I'm sure many of you do not consider this fact. I want to make the case for AOC as a viable candidate—President of the United States of America in 2028. Hear me out.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is now 35 years old, and it is legal to run for president. She aligns closer to the age of both generations, coupled with the appeal and understanding of their unique issues. She often connects with them via social media, interacting with them on sites akin to Twitch while expressing progressive issues, fighting climate change, improving healthcare, and discussing measures to reduce the economic inequality of the working class. These are huge issues with both generations and shouldn't be overlooked. AOC would be the right person to initiate a platform to make these lofty changes.

She will have some challenges working with moderate Democrats to create a coalition to create this platform. Based on this past election, that platform was somewhat unsuccessful…
