4 down, 10 to go!

So, I have been travelling with my fellow volunteers to our location in Limpopo for around 4 hours and we still have a long way to go!

This week has been a bit bizarre as we have been in a sort of bubble at Skogheim Christian Centre for a week of intense but interesting training! The week started well as UK volunteers were greeted by the amazing sound of South African singing an we have been made to feel very welcome. Friendships have been formed which is good as we have three months together!

I am in a group of 7. Our team leader is the wonderful Christina, a secondary school teacher from the UK and I feel she will be great to learn from. Our team has a real mix of personalities which I am really pleased about as I feel it will help us all to develop!

I am yet to meet my host family and really settle into life in Limpopo, but I am sure it is going to be amazing.

Wifi has been few and far between so I will update you all as soon as I can!

Thank you so much for your ongoing love and support- prayers are always appreciated!

Lots of love,

Ele xxx
