Your Writing Is An Embarrassment
Ben Noble

The youth of yesterday

‘Anyone who isn’t embarrassed of who they were last year probably isn’t learning enough,’

That’s bold . . . and insightful.

— is there a word in the English language for that — Bold and insightful? Sometimes I feel our language is quite anemic.

It seems a very Daoist assertion. It makes me want to pity those who cannot put aside their ego and see the clear reflection of their lesser evolved selves. Now I’m feeling all high and mighty, a superior being . . . my thinking’s evolved in a single moment.

I’m trying to put on humility, and not wear it like a crown . . . still evolving.
