Whilst 50% of marriages end in divorce, 80% of the couples marry once and stay married their entire life.

It appears that 20% of the couples do 50% of the marrying and 100% of the divorcing.

My Nana (born in 1890) once quipped about a woman who had been divorced twice “two men can’t be wrong.”
