Star Trek: Deep Space Nine In 82.5 Hours

QUOTE: “ DS9 introduced long, serialized stories about morally ambiguous characters to network television”

It’s difficult for me to seriously absorb your ideas, when you make blatantly-wrong statements like that. The first show to “introduce” serialized stories was Babylon 5 in 1993 onward (with the creator’s “novel for television” concept and a “five-year prewritten plot”).

Okay so maybe you ever heard of B5, which I can understand, but then you say “network television” which is just flat-wrong (and stupid). Deep Space Nine like its predecessor Next Generation was a syndicated show….. meaning it had NO network.

Both shows aired on random stations across the country, and at random times. Neither TNG nor DS9 were network television.
