WordPress Maintenance Mode Without a Plugin

With Elementor’s new feature, you can set WordPress maintenance mode without a plugin. One of the biggest advantages of doing that is that you can take advantage of Elementor’s visual editor to fully customize and design your maintenance mode and coming soon pages.

Enabling Maintenance Mode

Here’s how to do it:

  1. First, create your maintenance mode template by editing a page and saving it as a template. You can also use one of the pre-built templates that come with Elementor.
  2. Now, go to Elementor > Tools, and turn on Maintenance mode.
  3. Next, choose the template you created earlier.

That’s all you have to do. Now, users that visit your site will see the maintenance mode page, while registered users will still have access to the site.
