I’m sitting in my apartment alternating between staring into the void and curating my minimalist packing list on Pinterest. My backpack sits sad and empty under my bed. My travel toiletries have been thoroughly cleaned and organized and are gathering dust in my bathroom cabinet. I have been on Skyscanner fourteen times in the past three days. I am desolate.
