CS371p Fall 2019: Eleni Georgiou
November 2nd, 2019
What did you do this past week?
This past week was a pretty typical week; homework assignments, training, tutoring duties, and CS Ambassador shifts. I also had time to get some errands out of the way. My partner and I also got a lot of work done on Darwin and are continuing to work on it this week. Lastly, I registered for classes. I got most of the classes I wanted (AI and Concurrency), except one in a different department that is reserved and will have to be added later.
What’s in your way?
This week I felt off from feeling a little sick and the cold weather. Next week I want to try to get back to my normal routine and habits. I have a lot of tests and assignments coming up that I want to stay ahead of.
What will you do next week?
This week I’ll finish Darwin with my partner. I also want to get a draft of a paper for another class finished. Looking ahead, I want to start studying for two tests I have. I also need to make sure I get some work done for my online class to keep on schedule.
What was your experience of the vector implementation?
I definitely learned more about vector implementation this week and how to implement it efficiently. I hadn’t thought of the swapping method for the copy assignment. However, by the end of the week, I had trouble concentrating in class, so I will have to go over the notes again before Monday.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
In honor of registration, my pick-of-the-week is UT Coursicle. This is a cool web app that helps you plan your schedule. You can also connect to your social media to find what classes your friends are taking!
