Nobody is reading your posts on Medium?
Well, something is definitely wrong here on this wonderful Medium platform.
You are posting quality content and only having just a few views…?
Well, I thought so, because it is same here with me, and it is time to let Medium know this:
Something is definitely wrong here on this wonderful Medium platform.
My stats show this:
I got 3 stories, 10 views and 8 reads in the last 30 days.
Medium is the new buzz raising high hope for new comers.
And Medium is attracting a high quality audience.
There are more writers than readers here on Medium.
And there are more leaders than followers here than on any other platform I have seen.
But here is the problem: We are mostly unnoticed here.
I have joined Medium not because I am looking for answers.
I got Google to answer most of what I need to know.
I am here for interesting readings, some that are unusual.
But even more than that, I am here to voice myself and gather some of my own followers.
I am here to give and to gain some little awareness to my own projects.
I am here to communicate and converse and feel alive in an open dialog.
But it’s not really working for us, for the typical common person like you and me.
We have a wonderful platform to publish our post but our stories are lost in the great void.
Nobody really gets to see our stories…!
My typical story — like what you are now reading, gets 2 views and two reads within its first 24 hours after being published, and that’s about it, mostly…
My stories here are dying almost instantly after being born…
If Medium wants to be around in the coming future with the competition of fresh new platforms that are still to come, they should consider the “common” guys like you and me who are struggling to find a comfortable spot.
We are simply lost here unnoticeable.
If I cannot get more than two or three views then it’s a waste of my time, your time, and…
Medium will die!
We, most of Medium audience are not here just only to read the others.
It’s about dialogs turning into conversations and not just clicking more and more likes that don’t really add anything meaningful to the stories.
And I know all the other places where I could find the big guys that repeat over and over again their same old mantra that’s being circulated all around the web and even here, while the crowds are cheering with meaningless likes that mean nothing but are said just to get perhaps some attention… but they are not — because those big guys are laughing!
Medium has to find a way that would give us the common audience, a fair chance to be seen and viewed.
Then, it is upon us to have our content being good to be read.
But how do we the working majority entrepreneurs that are on our way to make a better world — how do we get a chance to be viewed here on Medium?
Medium has to change the formula of how they present and place new posts to give us common writers more exposure over the big guys.
If you feel the same — if you are contributing your best output writing quality posts and getting no response, if you keep coming here giving your likes and comments to others but you never get yourself any exposure when you continually keep doing what you are told –then please add your vote to this.
