My friend just said, “If you’re looking for something, you’ll find it.” That’s a platitude. But platitudes are platitudes for a reason. They’re true.

If you’re looking for excuses, you’ll find plenty. If you’re looking for reasons to quit, there are lots. If you’re looking for pessimism, dive in.

But then, likely too, if you’re looking for courage, you’ll discover it. If you’re looking for meaning, you’ll begin to see it. If you’re looking for a sense of wonder, it will surprise you with its immediacy.

Seek, and you’ll find.
