Matriarchal societies? For example? Not saying you are wrong. I just have not heard of any and I am a historian. I work with a lot of other historians, archaeologists, anthropologists etc and I have never heard mention of any matriarchal society. So I would be very interested if you could give me an example of a truly matriarchal society.
