Let me recap, you claimed to read women’s bogs yet you don’t know that metoo movement was started by a black woman and is also composed of ordinary women who tell you about the everyday abuse and harassment they have suffered. I’m guessing that the blogs you actually read are the ones written by conservative women who told other women to be “compasionate with white men and put up with their catcalls or give them a chance (date even if we don’t like them)”. XD
Hipocrisy is complaining about “other cultures” when scandals like the one on Pennsylvania show that the problem is on your own culture. Until you fix that problems first, you can’t expect that newcommers take you seriously when you say “sexual harassment is bad”. They hear you when you praise Trump for the “grab them by the pussy” and claim that that actions make him a “ladies’s man”. So they think that “grab them by the pussy” is OK in your country. Same way, you look the other way if the abuses are done by cristian priest, so they assume that it is OK. No big surprises here, just a double standard that you apply.
Dear, in Europe there is no “second ammendment” that means no shootings. If someone where to carry a handgun, all neighbours would call the police. It would be seen as weird and they would suspect. Our culture is way different than yours and it shows on numbers like that. Besides, bombing abortion clinics is still terrorism.
If I were to look at terrorism in Europe, we would be talking about IRA in ireland (not inmigrants), ETA in Pais Vasco (they are spanish), and other groups that happen to be european, not muslims. Compared to those terrorist, the muslims have barely attacked and only started after Europe supported USA on the Irak war. The pattern is clear, problem come from the inside.
The fact that you want to deny your domestic terrorism and reframe it as “deranged people” or “antiamerican”, as if those people didn’t come from cristian communities. And blame “promiscuity” for mysoginy when it is more than obvious that the last scandals involve priest and powerful men that were considered examples to follow (including your own president), say everything. You turn your head the other way whenever you don’t like the reality. But it is still there.
The more you write the more it is obvious that by “ordinary people” you mean “people who think like you” but that you exclude ordinary women, ordinary black people (who are far more preocupied by police than gangs which should give you a hint about how far from truth you are, since they know their own lifes better than you do), ordinary non cristians, and ordinary Europeans (whose blogs your obviously don’t read or you would already know that we have a lot less problems with drugs than USA even if drugs are legal in Netherlands). You might want to travel and learn a little about Europe before lecturing an European about their own continent. XD
