Al- Qsim Khalaf ibn al- ‘ Abbs al- Zahrawi al- Ansari( Arabic أبو القاسم خلف بن العباس الزهراوي; 936–1013), also known as Al- Zahrawi( الزهراوي), and Latinized as Abulcasis( from Arabic Ab al- Qsim), was an Arab Andalusian croaker , surgeon, and druggist. He lived from 936 to 1013. He’s regarded as the topmost surgeon of the Middle periods and is known as the “ father of ultramodern surgery. ”( Al- Ghazal, 2007)

Alzahrawi, who’s justifiably honored as the father of ultramodern surgery, is one of numerous Moslem intellectualists who contributed to illuminating the way of medical mortal understanding. His thorough medical textbooks, which were written before the Renaissance and latterly, helped to shape European surgical practices. He was a great surgeon, a colonist in surgical invention, and an excellent schoolteacher. His cases and scholars were the focus of his life’s work. No other surgeon of his time could be compared to him, and the entire outstanding Renaissance surgeon had quoted him. He was plainly the top surgeon.
