We’ve chosen a few of the most interesting projects from the Boost submissions, and are reaching out to gather more information from these Creators. Depending on the details of each project, we’re interested in seeing a prototype, video, or getting additional information regarding the project before putting it on the app. After we learn more, we’ll choose the most promising ones to put on Boost. Early on, we’re setting up creator profiles and projects for people to speed things up.

We’ve also created a few of our own fun projects to put on Boost when the app comes out! Stay tuned for a few surprises.

Design

Jane & Rosello has been creating some gorgeous designs! Here’s one design that will link to the Creator Portal:

Backing projects allows contributors to choose between a variety of options. Sometimes, contributors may want to be rewarded for backing a project. Other times, they may simply want to contribute. The displayed options can be customized for each campaign. Here’s an example of what that may look like:

Creators can also choose multiple photos or a video to showcase their work:

Or even a Youtube video!

Development Progress

This week we’ve made a lot of progress towards getting everything ready for the beta release!

We’ve redesigned the project details page and added a rewards section so that project creators can offer rewards to contributors and contributors have the option of selecting a reward when they choose to support a project. We’re really excited about this because we think it will make supporting projects more interactive and engaging and increase the chances that creators will meet their funding goals. We’ve also added a creator detail page to the app so that creators can provide more information about themselves to potential supporters. Although contributions can be made anonymously, we think that giving the creators the option to share more info about themselves will be helpful as they try to generate support for and confidence in their projects. In another section of the app, we’ve redesign the send tokens interface and integrated it with the user’s contacts to make this experience easier (and prettier).

Stay tuned for updates about when you’ll be able to try out the beta and check out this sneak peek (with fun background music) of the app!

Be sure to sign up to get early access to the Beta on our homepage as well as connect via social media on Reddit, Twitter, Discord, and Telegram. We also have new Facebook and Instagram pages, and a newsletter you can sign up for at the bottom of our website. Our Creator Portal is also open for submissions here! If you have any questions, let us know and we’d be glad to help clear things up!
