This week, we’ve been implementing new features and designs throughout the app. We’re adding some of these features as they are designed. Implementation will be finalized after the colorized versions of the designs are provided. We’ve also requested several additional features from the designer, which we describe below.
First, the design firm has created additional functionality within the app wallet to show the value Elix and Ethereum in the app, along with individual values and 24 hour change. We believe additional features like this should increase user engagement, since it will allow our users to get information like price and change in price over time without having to go to sites like Coinmarketcap or other apps like Blockfolio. Below, we show a preview of what this new functionality looks like:
Additionally, we’re adding a variety of features to help our users navigate through the app. For example, when transacting with contacts, information about each contact is displayed as the transaction is setup:

Additionally, the wallet page has now been condensed to include easy access to transaction functionality. This reflects the findings of research conducted by the design firm, where people were asked to try out the prototype and the design firm observed their most common interaction patterns with the interface. The design firm tested the interactive prototype with people both familiar and not familiar with cryptocurrencies.
Furthermore, we’re also implementing new transaction verification popups, which allow users to view the exact transaction on the blockchain. These transaction popups will look like so, except with colors added:
Our in app browser is complete as well. This allows users to navigate through Ropsten etherscan, viewing transactions in detail using the etherscan UI. Ropsten will be replaced by the actual main net etherscan in the final version.
We’re also implementing the Categories and Filters feature, and are now connecting that up to the proposal submission section of the app. Users can only select one filter, but can set Boost to show as many Categories as they like.
We’re simultaneously working on code optimizations throughout the smart contracts. This includes condensing function calls to other contracts to reduce costs, and other cost reduction optimizations.
This week the design firm is finalizing the greyscale design and beginning the process of adding colors. Additionally, once the updated website designs for the Creator portal are supplied by the designer, we will begin adding them to the website. If you are an entrepreneur or someone interesting in raising tokens through Boost, be sure to follow our updates and check our website regularly and sign up as soon as we update it!
