TicrThing, a portable crypto price tracker, was recently added to Boost.

Welcome to this week’s round of ELIX updates! As we get ready to put the ELIX App on the store, we’re getting our app ready for the mainnet.

Beta Signups

If you haven’t already, get the Beta of the ELIX app by signing up here. We now have over 1,350 Beta testers signed up. Last week, we added another set of testers. We’re releasing the Beta is the order of signups… so be sure to grab a spot. In the last build, we added the Ledger, project completion badges, and social links on the More page. If you’re Beta testing the app, make sure to go to Testflight and get the latest build (0.2.65). We’re excited to share the app with more people as we transition to mainnet. Once the app is on app stores, we’ll email the remaining Beta testers a link to the app store versions!

Creator Referrals

We’re offering rewards for referring new creators. When you recommend ELIX to a new creator, submit a referral here. If that creators submits their project and is selected to be on Boost, we’ll send you the bounty (20$ worth of ELIX).

Please have creators fill out this form for Continuous Products:

And please have creators fill out this form for projects that seek to achieve a crowdfunding goal:

Crowdfunding projects can have backer rewards, as shown in the Beta app. Continuous products exclusively have rewards. If a creator wants to try the app, please put us in touch and we’ll send a Beta invite to them.

Creator Signups

We’re working on adding new creators to Boost, our crowdfunding platform. You can become an early creator by signing up here. If you need ideas for Boost, think about projects for crypto podcasts, wallets, games, smart contract development, crypto summaries, or even customized accessories.

Transitioning To Production

With our upcoming App Store release, we’re transitions our servers and databases to production environments. This also means redirecting the node endpoint of the app to a mainnet node. After discussing the best way to choose production level servers with our Advisor, we’re now transitioning. We’re testing the Pro Quiknode version as an endpoint for our node. This will allow us to focus on the app while having Quiknode make sure our node is synced and running well. Later on, we can decide whether to host our own node or continue to use Quiknode. So far, we’ve been impressed with their speed and responsiveness to our questions.

Design

Jane & Rosello are working on the updated ledger design. We’re providing feedback on the designs and continuing to test the ledger that is now included in the Beta app. Once the designs are finalized, we’ll update the UI of the Beta to reflect the updated ledger. Here’s an early version of the new ledger designs:

Jane & Rosello have also designed a “Recent Press” section for our app, which will link to recent articles about ELIX. Here’s what that will look like in the app:
