Want to test your marriage when both of you have zero interior design acumen but lots of strong amateur opinions? Arrange furniture together! “Design” a living room! Create problems where there are no problems! Irritably ask, “What’s *the intended purpose* of *this space*?” And argue the merits of couches (my opinion: there are no merits), my opinion: what everyone really wants is a big comfortable reading chair. (And a banana plant in a textural container by its side.)
