Using the video game of Cities: Skylines and the expansion packs to understand other perspectives on different aspects of cities.

After Dark
- An expansion pack specifically focusing on increasing the use of your city during night hours.
- Allows areas of the city to be defined as “leisure”, which are used more at night.
- Taxis are added as a mode of transport for the population to travel home at night.
Snowfall
- Covers cities in snow and ice.
- Adds the challenge of dealing with extreme temperatures on a large scale in cities.
- Allows use of two sources of energy, for heating and power.
Natural Disasters
- Add realistic situations of natural disasters, like earthquakes and tornadoes.
- Adds the challenge of how to cope with disasters, how to plan to deal with them, including using data of areas prone to disasters, early warning systems and emergency routes.
Mass Transit
- Aims to improves road traffic and congestions.
- Provides new methods of transport including ferries across rivers, cable cars in the mountain peaks and blimps in the sky.
- Gives you access to more data about your city to improve traffic, which a lot of the city infrastructure depends on.
Green Cities
- Adds new ways to create a more sustainable city.
- Allows you to build earth-friendly towns and reduce pollution in the city, by adding more green and natural elements to the city.
- In return, citizen health and happiness levels are improved.
Parklife
- Expansion focusing on leisure activities which are related to parks, for example, amusement parks, nature reserves and zoos.
- The aim of this gameplay is to give life to empty land and gardens.
- In return, this improves citizen happiness and health levels.
Industries
- Allows you to create a more efficient city, in production, importing and exporting goods.
- Adds additional resources types, like crops.
