After work, I grind my way through a 45-minute traffic crawl, thinking about all the things I need/want to do as soon as I get home and also how hungry I am. I tell myself I am absolutely NOT going to take a nap because that wastes my evening and throws off my sleep schedule.
I get home and take a nap.
Honestly, it’s a problem. I wake up groggy and starving with nothing cooked and usually with my sister glaring at me because I haven’t done any of the things I said I would do. But by the time I get home, I feel like my body is lead and my brain is full of cotton. I’m so sleepy I can’t stand it. I can’t accomplish anything like that anyway.
I’ve been trying to get my sleep schedule worked out in a healthier rhythm and also improve my diet for more energy. Wish me luck.
