I went to Six Flags with my sister, with a budget of $20 for food and incidentals. $20 is laughably insufficient for theme park food, but we had packed sandwiches in a cooler in the car and only planned to buy a few snacks. Well, by the time mealtimes rolled around, we were both hot and tired and completely not digging the idea of walking back out to the car for our sandwiches. She bought my lunch, but I bought my own dinner ($16.93) and a funnel cake ($9.71. FOR ONE FUNNEL CAKE.) as well as a two-dose pack of Aleve ($2.69) for a headache that kept going regardless so I might as well have saved my money. Then, because of the drive to and from the park, I had to also spend $19.39 on gas, which I should have anticipated but didn’t. (The gas could normally have waited until payday tomorrow.) So, $48.72, over twice my budget. -_- Fortunately, like I said, payday tomorrow!
