Like you, my first reaction was “what? no.” As a bride, the last thing I think I’d want is non-spouse company on my honeymoon! But when you think of it as just a few more days with friends who will already be there, and who you might not see again for a long time, maybe never again in a carefree low-strings way, I start to see the appeal. The money questions, alas, will vary for every situation.
