How NFL teams manipulate injured players, the system for financial gain
Chris Kluwe

I’m finding it harder and harder to justify supporting the NFL. This piece should be shocking, but it’s not — if only because previous revelations have been worse still. It seems like football players are taken advantage of at every step in their careers, starting with repeated childhood and adolescent concussions and, all too often, ending with brain injuries and/or suicide. The whole system needs reform from start to finish (and beyond). Thanks for speaking up, Chris.
