Biggest mistakes Recruitment agencies make in IT

So I have been a programmer almost my whole life.
And every time I look for a job, companies have the same process over and over again. Which is a shame! It will always go like this.

1. Someone finds me on indeed or Linkedin
2. They tell me hey you are the perfect candidate for this job…
3. I tell them okay let’s try it.
4. First Job interview
5. Second Job interview (With some programming tests)
6. Accept or denied

So whats wrong with this?
You can test a candidate at home or distance to save recruitment time so for example if you are going to hire a PHP programmer why not test him with a PHP assignment. There are even several programs that can record the code every second so you know exactly what the programmer wrote.
This can improve the conversion of candidates and save time for the recruitment procress.

Why is nobody doing this?
Recruitment agencies main focus is to get as many candidates as possible no filter, no limit. that’s why in the face of many candidates recruiters are annoying and have received a really bad image.

What does the client want?
- Making a great hire
- Avoid making a bad hire because this can cost the company couple of thousands dollars/euros

Company brand
Many recruiters also make the mistake of not protecting or improving their company brand. Be kind to candidates and clients be personal and respect everyone’s decisions.
