Don’t be Cheap — You’ll pay for it…

Check out my video that goes with this post!

One of the important attributes to being a Four Percenter (with the Four Percent Success Challenge) is that you shouldn’t be cheap on your journey to greatness.

Actually, it’s “Don’t be cheap on your journey to greatness.”

Guess what…

Real life example:

Over the last several weeks, I’ve been wondering why I have a ClickMagick account. I have had it since the start of The Four Percent Success Challenge and I don’t question anything I’m told to do.

Well, that’s a bit far. I’m a very critical thinker. I question everything. But if my one of my mentors tells me to do something, I don’t ask questions. I just do it.

I figure… They know, I don’t. They have been through this process before, I haven’t. They make money with this, I don’t (at the beginning I mean ;)

But now that I know a lot more, I have started to question some of the products and services I own, but don’t seem to use or need. ClickMagick is a tool that tracks links and successful sales and lead generation and things like that. What I have figured out is that the things that ClickMagick has to offer me are offered through ClickFunnels (which I own) OR, are way above my level at this point. I don’t know how to use a lot of the things that I’m paying for. As a budding affiliate entrepreneur, I thought I was paying for two products that did the same thing for me.

Well, I learned the hard way. That’s why I’m telling you…

Learn from my mistake!

Monday night I canceled my ClickMagick account.

Poof, gone. $27 saved!

Everything was going to go through ClickFunnels. No worries.

About two hours later, my Facebook Ad vendor sent me a message saying that my link was denied because it was a raw affiliate link and I can’t use that on Facebook.

He said that Facebook suggested that I cloak the link.

CLOAK THE LINK???? I can only do that through ClickMagick!

AAAaaaahhhhhh!

So now I have found myself having to repurchase ClickMagick, re-establish my custom tracking domain — all that jazz.

All because I questioned what I was told to do, and because I wanted to save a few bucks.

I decided to be a little cheap on my journey to greatness.

What a pain in the butt that has turned out to be.

I did a blog post and a video on this previously. At that point, I hadn’t had any experience in trying to skimp on the essentials.

Now I do.

Hopefully this will prevent you from trying to skimp on the essentials as well!

Thanks for reading. I appreciate you!
