The only reason we can do this is because we make content people love and have cultivated an honest relationship with our community that includes discussion of finances. Throwing back that veil is intrinsically uncomfortable to people who make ridiculous amounts of money, but it’s not difficult at all if you honestly feel that you have nothing to be ashamed of.

Hank, is there a place where you have written up a detailed version of how much it costs to run a particular YouTube program or part of your business, and how much it brings in? I’d be really interested to see the specifics of how the financial side of a professional YouTube channel happens.
