I was hoping for something new in your article. Instead I found something really old. And irrelelvant. You cite the criminal backgrounds of both shooting victims. I cannot bring myself to read any more news about these incidents so I don’t know if the police had this information before shooting. Doubt it. Doesn’t matter anyway. They are not judge & jury. They don’t get to decide to shoot someone who was a criminal previously. They only get to shoot to save their own lives or lives of the public. Period. Doesn’t look like that was the case in either situation; even though one was carrying he did not pull his gun out much less threaten officers. So when I got to that point of your article I stopped reading because I already know the rest of “Blame the Victim”.
