You Pay More Taxes Than Exxon Mobil
Joe Brewer

Good article but it is misleading. It’s true that Exxon recieved huge tax subsidies of $12.9 billion over 8 years. But they did pay taxes for all but 1 of those years. The tax subsidies did not wipe out their tax liability and payment. They paid $15.1 bil in 2009, $21.6 bil in 2010, $31.1 bil in 2011, $31.0 bil in 2012, $24.3 bil in 2013, $18.0 bil in 2014, $5.4 bil in 2015, and $0 in 2016.
