What kid doesn’t dream of going on safari in Africa? Iconic wildlife, fascinating cultures, and a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. For parents considering this kind of vacation, the options can be overwhelming. Along with the usual considerations such as budget, length of stay, and quality of accommodation, traveling with kids brings another whole set of factors to consider, such as the availability of kid-friendly foods, ease of access to healthcare, and the range of kid-friendly activities. Having planned and led dozens of tours through this magnificent country, I can confidently recommend Namibia as my first choice in African destinations for families.
