Yeah so when the GOP head of the energy subcommittee holds a snowball up in the chamber and calls it evidence that global warming isn’t real and is defended in conservative circles I can’t take that seriously.

When the GOP has done nothing to help fix Obamacare but relentlessly passes bills repealing it they can’t be considered seriously legislative actors.

And if you’re going to be offended by liberal arguments instead of dealing with them then I don’t know how serious you really are about conversation. Your version of conversation seems to mean starting from your point of view and working backward.

That’s not how debate works.

By the way, I happen to think that no amount of gun control will stop mass shootings. We have to address the culture not the means. But if you really think we don’t have more gun control in this country because of principal and not because of the NRA then I think you need to look at who pays your reps in congress.
