Mr. Kirschner should be universally praised for his work. He fearlessly embarked on what most would see as a quixotic adventure and has single-handedly made a large environmental and social impact on our society. During his journey, he has been able to recruit tens of thousands of environmentally-conscious citizens and increase our general prosocial behavior. He has accomplished this simply by introducing a compelling message, designing a solution, breaking it down to digestible parts, and leading by example. Kirschner is succeeding where others have failed because he is able to blend pragmatism with idealism and bring in the big corporations to join the Litterati. Now it’s time for businesses, schools, and government to come aboard take responsibility.
