Looking for the One: How I Went on 150 Dates in 4 Months

I originally met my current husband on OK Cupid about seven or so years ago. We dated for about six months and then broke up (I was way too young to appreciate someone like him, and he still had his shallow side). After about six years, he messaged me on Facebook after he noticed that I’d linked him on LinkedIn. As soon as we reunited we knew it was forever and moved in together immediately. I find it really cool that both times we got together, we had the Internet to thank. When he dreamily asks me “How did I get so lucky as to have you.” I say, “OkCupid, LinkedIn, and Facebook.” I then follow it up with “So I guess we really have Al Gore to thank.” Technology is a great way to genuinely meet your soul mate. It worked for me (OKC is also how I met every other boyfriend or date I ever had) and I know it will work for you. Thanks Mr. Gore. I really owe you one.
