It’s true, sometimes all you need is something small. Someone to not want to use you. Even just someone who’s nice to you. I went into a hospital up north when I’d had a break down. After the intake nurse catalogued my body and asked me the questions, I was so much better they decided to do outpatient rather than keep me. I broke down into tears and thanked the nurse. Just the act of being kind and caring if I was alive or dead was enough to keep me going.
