The feeling of taking an amazing photo

That ‘I should work for National Geographic” feeling

Elliot Vagner’s photo of a Golden Orb Spider

2 weeks ago I went to Queensland with my family and I took this beauty of a photo. I edited it slightly in Photoshop and now I don’t know what to do with it.

I don’t know why I love it so much, it’s just a difficult photo to take and the focus is there, the colors, the blurry background, the golden net is stunning and the Golden Orb spider looks terrifying. The feeling I got when having taken the photo, edited it and saved it as a .jpg is astonishing and I just don’t understand.

It’s a photo. Like, calm down Elliot.

But my god, it is a good one. I’m sure that if you take photos on the regular that you will also have experienced this ego rush from just a photo you took. Anyone could easily scroll past it on Google Images but I am even too proud to put it on Facebook as I am scared I won’t get any recognition for it, if gets used.

It’s a good feeling when you take one of those “national geographic” photos as we call it at home. I don’t think this article has a bigger point or purpose than that. I hope all 4 of you who read this will go out and search for that one thing, that you can capture by camera and get an absurdly huge ego boost.

If you would like to download this image you can visit my Unsplashed page and maybe even download some other of my photos.

By the way, they are stock free. Your welcome.
