Building a Community for Wolf Entertainment
When we transitioned from Wolf Films to Wolf Entertainment in early 2019, the goal was to create a brand that expanded the ways in which we connected with fans of our series. We launched a website. We launched accounts on Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook. We’ve taken pride in pushing the boundaries of what a production company can be as both a brand and community on these platforms. Yet, now we believe that we can do more. Traditional social media algorithms are naturally biased and limit the ways that we can all interact.
Recently, we’ve been investing time in finding ways to more meaningfully connect with all of you. We’ve found that Discord is a great solution for doing so. The platform allows us to distribute content to you directly, without an algorithm to decide what you do and do not see. Most importantly, it allows everyone to connect with one another, discuss the series, and build friendships.
Today we’re excited to announce The Wolf Society, a Discord for the Wolf Entertainment community. The server will host behind-the-scenes content and facilitate a conversation around all Wolf series, merchandise, and events. And that’s just the beginning of what’s possible. We see The Wolf Society as a launching pad for new content and ideas… but more on that soon.
We want to be upfront, this server is not a place to pitch us new series or episode ideas. It’s not a place for anger, hate, or online bullying. We’ll have community managers that enforce rules to make sure of it. Speaking of rules, you’ll need to read and agree to them before gaining access to the server. Once inside, we hope that you’ll feel a part of our community. We encourage you to participate in it. Join The Wolf Society here.
