DO YOU NEED MONEY TO START YOUR BUSINESS?

Most definitely you need money to start a business. However, having money is NOT the first necessary requirement of starting a business. Unquestionably, it takes way more than money to start a successful business. The mindset of not taking any action because you think you need money before you can start anything only holds you back.

When you don’t have ready money to invest in your business, the best investment is your time. The conclusion is, if you’re taking zero action, you don’t need money to start your business, you only have more money to lose.
In some situations, people are not willing to risk the “little” they have on their business. You must be passionate about what you’re doing, without passion, it’s easy to quit when the going gets tough, and best believe it will get tough.

There’s so much free information on the internet, all you need to do is research. Learn as much as possible about what you want to do.
- Draw a business plan
Have a ready business plan, don’t just draw a plan where you assume everything goes smoothly. The difficult times are unavoidable, you should have provisions for them. Then again, it can not be perfect, research and draw the best plan you can.
- Make a checklist
From start- the foundation you need to build, to finish- till the business is launched, you should make a checklist of things you must get done for your business to be launched, in the form of tasks.
- Eliminate unnecessary costs
Your business may need a logo, website or anything relatable. These are stuff you can learn in a couple of weeks. There are so many freely available tools to help you complete these tasks. It doesn’t need to be perfect, you don’t need to hire anyone. Find all possible ways of eliminating unnecessary costs.
- Buy a domain
Find a suitable domain for your business, even when you’re not ready to open it yet. Domains come cheap these days, ranging from $1 to hundreds of dollars.
With a business, what you’re doing is selling, selling your vision, the idea and drive is more valuable than having money to start. Never rely too much on anyone, you should not put your business in a position where it can’t progress without someone.
