What a treat! These are great photo’s and I’m now looking forward to reading the entire book. I’ve seen the Allman Brothers many times during their early period, middle (1980’s) and ending with a Gathering of the Vibes show in 2005 in upper state New York. But the highlight was seeing the Brothers with Duane and Berry Oakley, at the University of New Haven (Connecticut) cafeteria in 1970. I remember checking out the tour bus in the parking lot before going in and then listening to an amazing show on a makeshift stage. And to this day I still play their vinyl on the turntable and crank it up in the car when they come on XM Radio. Idelwild South, their second studio album is by far my favorite. I have probably played it thousands of times and it never gets old.
