Is Entrepreneurship the new purple?

Entrepreneurship has always been here since break of dawn, with the very first socio-economic structure in the first civilizations around the world. Maybe that’s an exaggeration. I guess no one started to sell lemonade on the side off the road in the Inca or the Pyramid times. Or was their?

However, there has always been a courageous daring person, who saw the possibility and risked their livelihood to realize their idea or dream.

How is it that some people want to risk all their money, health, marriage in achieving their goal/ dream?

In the end it is a dream, a goal an idea that makes entrepreneurs relentlessly chase their success story. Or is it?

Are entrepreneur’s mad people? To risk everything and get caught in a dream? Why is being entrepreneurial so addictive? Is it addictive? Does it release Dopamine in the brain? Are they just doing it for the money?

Well that is one way at looking at the question “Why entrepreneurship”, the financial risk (bankruptcy) and personal health (sleepless nights) and the impact it has on your surroundings (relationship, friends).

Another way is to look at it in a more social-economic term and see what impact it has on our society and economy. Entrepreneurship facilitates social and economic changes in the society is what makes the society evolve and the economy to grow.

The lifestyle of being entrepreneur

In our time entrepreneurs are Gods and most likely the entrepreneur has an education as a software developer of some sort. Well broadly speaking.

The technological development has created insanely rich people and many of them are young and ambitious people who like to create companies, develop ideas and invest in many business projects.

The success and technological development has created a class of young entrepreneurs, who want to become as successful as Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and European entrepreneurs as well.

It’s become a lifestyle and being independent, being your own Boss and developing your own idea is very popular, attractive and possible. Today no one looks at the amateur inventor as a day dreamer, but is taken serious and given many opportunities to craft a business plan upon his idea through courses, professional mentors who are there to help you launch your idea, nationally and of course internationally.

Being an entrepreneur is not an easy thing to do so why bother and go through the hassle. Well the answer isn’t always crystal clear. At the end of the day entrepreneurship has its ups and downs. On one hand there is all the hard work and long hours, but also opportunity to pursue your dreams and build the career , and impact on the world you always wanted.

So why entrepreneurship? Is a highly subjective matter with our time of opportunity is very interesting to look into and be inspired by their dreams and how they achieve them.
